If you believe you have received discriminatory treatment based on race, color, national origin, age, religion, marital status, sex, sexual orientation, disability, political affiliation, domestic partnership, or ethnic group identification you have a right to file a complain with our Civil Rights Coordinator.
An individual who believes their civil rights may have been violated should contact the Health & Human Services Agency’s Civil Rights Coordinator at (831) 636-5041.

Our organization cannot guarantee that complaints will remain confidential after an investigation has commenced because records are subject to subpoena and right of discovery if a case goes to litigation, and can be subpoenaed by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), a federal agency; however, our office will take all appropriate measures to maintain the confidentiality of complaints and those involved in the complaint process.
