Consulting Services – Request for Qualification (RFQ)
The San Benito County Workforce Development Board (WDB) is issuing this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for America’s Job Center of California (AJCC) consultant services, pursuant to the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Section 121[d]. It is the intent of the Workforce Development Board to enter into a vendor relationship with a qualified individual or organization capable of providing the services described within this RFQ. Included in this RFQ are a scope of services and tasks and other information describing this opportunity. The performance period is July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2019. Due to WIOA funding cycles, the successful applicant will initially be awarded one year of funding, with a second year added pending future funding. The contract may be renewed for up to two additional years dependent on funding and performance.
The purpose of this Request for Qualification is to seek qualified individuals or organizations as consultants for the coordination of the Local Area’s AJCC partners with the delivery of services. For more info click here

The San Benito County Workforce Development Board (WDB) has launched a Rapid Response and Lay-Off Aversion program. Under the leadership of contract project manager Kristina Chavez Wyatt of Farmhouse Communications, contractors, volunteers and interns are in the process of conducting extensive outreach to the business community in order to identify those companies that may be at risk of significant workforce reductions and layoffs, and to provide information to businesses regarding resources and tools available to assist them in maintaining and strengthening and growing their employee bases. Companies that are at risk will receive counseling and resources to avoid layoffs or closure.
